AMETEK Power Quality Solutions has announced Marcel Hill as the new vice president/business unit manager for AMETEK Power Quality Solutions (PQS), within which Powervar, SurgeX and ESP serve as the core supporting brands. In his new role, Hill will provide leadership and guidance for the continued strategic growth of each of the brands under the AMETEK PQS umbrella.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades of leadership, he excels at meeting customer needs through employee advocacy, product innovation and developing high-performance teams. Hill brings years of expertise acquired through a diverse career serving technically driven industries in the medical and quality assurance market sectors. Prior to joining AMETEK PQS, as global general manager for Australian Lab Services, he led a global team with 19 locations to deliver organic growth through product and commercial innovation. Hill also worked at Abbott Laboratories for 12 years, holding numerous leadership positions, with his last position serving as device operations manager, where he managed domestic manufacturing operations.
