Kodak Alaris Wins Scanner of the Year Award
Kodak Alaris Wins Scanner of the Year Award
Kodak Alaris has announced it has won the Scanner of the Year Award for the second year running in the PrintIT Awards 2021. The award win for the Kodak S3000 Series Scanner was announced by comedian Tom Allen at a glittering black tie event at the Royal Lancaster, London, United Kingdom, on December 7.
The judges praised the S3000 Series scanners' enterprise security features and noted that the range provides resellers with a fresh opportunity to target customers looking to embark on or advance their digital transformation strategies.
The win comes hot on the heels of success at the annual Document Manager Awards, held in November. Kodak Alaris won the Data Capture/Recognition Product of the Year Award for Kodak Perfect Page Technology and the Kodak S2085f Scanner was a runner up in two further categories: Hardware Product of the Year and Imaging Product of the Year: Desktop/Portable/Other.
"We were delighted to win the Scanner of the Year Award for the second year in a row," said Steve Keating, channel manager for UK&I, Kodak Alaris. "The category was strongly contested, with the judges looking for evidence of advanced functionality, first-to-market developments, superior design quality, reliability and impressive user-centricity. The PrintIT Awards event was fantastic; we really enjoyed having the opportunity to reconnect with partners and customers — and the award win was the icing on the cake."
