Keypoint Intelligence Validates MPS Monitor's Posture
MPS Monitor Keypoint Intelligence has performed a detailed assessment of its security methodology, as well as its platform's security policies and procedures. Findings of this analysis have been published in a white paper entitled "Managed Print Services Platform Security." Reporting positively on the comprehensive measures that MPS Monitor has implemented to keep customers' devices and their data secure, the document validates the security claims made by MPS Monitor.
In line with MPS Monitor's belief that seeking independent endorsement of its security claims is both best practice and reassuring for end users, it commissioned Keypoint Intelligence to examine its security procedures and to document them. Of particular note, Keypoint Intelligence's analysis concluded that MPS Monitor proved to be able to maintain customer devices in a secure posture through proactive and automated management of key device settings, and that it provides a deeply tested DCA technology that fulfills its customers' most stringent security requirements.
Furthermore, it was satisfied that MPS Monitor's platform runs on a proven and secure cloud infrastructure that benefits from continuous security testing and auditing from specialized security teams. It also recognized that MPS Monitor has in place a full and comprehensive set of policies and procedures that meets the requirement for industry-standard security certifications. It also stated that MPS Monitor went "the extra mile" to ensure its platform is certified as compliant to stringent international security standards like ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2.
"From small businesses through to larger enterprises and across all public-sector organizations, security is priority number one," said Nicola De Blasi, CEO, MPS Monitor. "The financial cost and reputational damage suffered during a security breach can be immense. However, print is often overlooked a as target for cybercriminals' intent on looking to gain access to the network. At MPS Monitor, we're acutely aware of this risk, which is why we have gone above and beyond meeting the required industry standards for security, to create an MPS platform that excels in its security capabilities, thereby protecting dealers and their customers from introducing additional risks into their environments. That's why we are thrilled that our efforts have been recognized by Keypoint Intelligence, given the completeness of its vigorous testing procedures that have made it a highly respected authority on this subject."
"Analyzing security claims made by vendors about their services or solutions is important for giving customers and end users peace of mind on a matter that is vital for their businesses," said Jamie Bsales, director of solutions, security & smart workplace analysis, Keypoint Intelligence. "In MPS Monitor's case, we are impressed by its commitment to engineering a platform that truly embraces a holistic — and thorough – approach to security. It satisfies our requirements that the company's security approach, methodology and main procedures it applies, provides robust and industry-leading security for its users."
