Hyland Achieves 100 AWS Certifications

Hyland has reached the 100-certification milestone with Amazon Web Services (AWS) — an indication of its AWS expertise.

The 100-certification mark is the latest milestone in Hyland's commitment to AWS. Earlier this year, Hyland announced it would deploy new OnBase and Brainware customers on AWS to support the increased cloud deployment and migration needs from its customer base. In April, Hyland also listed Alfresco Digital Business Platform in AWS Marketplace, using AWS to further power Hyland's content services and intelligent automation products in the Hyland Cloud.

"This certification milestone allows us to differentiate ourselves to our customers and assure them that Hyland has the expertise to design, deploy and operate applications and infrastructure on AWS," said Matt Beyer, AWS alliance lead, Hyland. "Our rapid certification growth demonstrates our commitment to deepening our work with AWS."

Early in 2022, Hyland strategically scaled its efforts to validate its cloud team's technical expertise — and in turn received an AWS Partner Network (APN) Certification Distinction. The certification process includes individual employee assessments in the form of classroom or digital training courses and ultimately requires passing an exam. Hylanders obtained multiple AWS certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Hyland also has taken the following steps to further its work with AWS over the last two years:

  • Expanded the cloud infrastructure footprint of the Hyland Cloud
  • Deployed OnBase, Alfresco Platform as a Service and Nuxeo Cloud customers on AWS Regions as the primary preference of infrastructure
  • Listed OnBase and Alfresco Digital Business Platform in AWS Marketplace

In other news, Hyland has been named a Leader in the industry for the 12th straight year by Gartner, and its partner Carahsoft have achieved recognition on the General Services Administration's Electronic Records Management database, a key designation that federal agencies consider when choosing trusted partners.

The recognition enables federal agencies to confidently partner with Hyland and Carahsoft when managing their records in the modern digital landscape, delivering Hyland solutions that can lead to accelerated processes, reduced costs and increased collaboration. As new records management requirements continue to evolve, agencies must assess and adapt their procedures to ensure they are following federal compliance policies and mandates.

Founded in 2004, Carahsoft is a trusted government IT solutions provider and a long-valued partner for Hyland. The partnership connects public sector organizations across government agencies with Hyland's flexible, modern technology solutions.

Hyland platforms are configurable to agency operations and offer a variety of capabilities that provide a better experience in a digital-first era, such as:

  • Automated and mobile capture
  • Content and case management
  • Business process automation
  • Customer communications management
  • Enterprise search
  • System integrations
  • Enterprise file sync and share

"Being recognized in the database further establishes our commitment to delivering innovative electronic records management solutions to our federal customers, specifically those evaluating qualified vendors able to support both new market requirements and specific agency objectives," said Troy Doller, director of federal government solutions, Hyland. "Our recognition proves Hyland is ready to adapt to regulatory changes in the digital landscape, affording us more opportunities to provide mission-critical agency support, while enabling better experiences for end users and constituents alike."
