Total Laser Care of NC Acquires Stepp Services
BTA member dealership Total Laser Care of NC Inc. (TLC) has continued its expansion of product and services offerings by bringing Stepp Services Inc. into the organization. The combination produces a very well-equipped, well-manned resource for copier/MFPs, label and wide-format printers, digital displays and information technology (IT) services.
TLC has been an independent provider of new and refurbished copier/MFPs and wide-format plotters. Sharp, Xerox and Canon large format are the company's core brand names in its copy/print menu. Managed IT services and Sharp's digital displays have become a more recent part of that lineup.
Stepp Services was founded in 1986 and has been owned and operated by Darrell and Esther Stepp ever since. It, too, has built a well-earned base of customers who have relied on the company for high-performance printers and copier/MFPs. Stepp supports HP and Xerox, as well as Epson, Canon and Brother. Sato and Afinia are the two primary label printer brands on the Stepp line card.
"We are excited about the potential created as we combine the solutions and experience Stepp Services has gathered over the past three or more decades with our own offering," said Chris and Rick Echols, owners, TLC. "You couldn't have asked for a more compatible combination of technology and expertise for this region."
It was also announced that Darrel and Esther Stepp have joined the TLC sales team, a transition the Echols say will benefit customers throughout North Carolina.
"The Stepp's have more than 30 years of experience in business systems," they said. "Their familiarity with the technology and the workflow patterns of businesses, schools and government agencies is nothing less than remarkable. We're very glad to have them on our side."
