Ricoh Wins Two Awards for Managed IT Services Solutions
Ricoh USA Inc. has been named the winner of the Best Cloud Infrastructure in the international cloud computing awards program, The Cloud Awards.
Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, The Cloud Awards identifies and celebrates innovation in cloud computing from organizations of any scale and headquartered in any country worldwide.
"We were particularly impressed with Ricoh's many layers of protection, security and monitoring for their cloud infrastructure," said Richard Geary, judge, The Cloud Awards. "It is also telling that Ricoh not only offers cloud services to their customers but uses them extensively themselves to enhance their own operational efficiency."
"This award is a testament to the effectiveness of our approach to building the digital services our customers need, especially because we experience that effectiveness ourselves," said Bob Lamendola, senior vice president of technology and head of the Digital Services Center, Ricoh North America. "Ricoh's own digital footprint is built based on our team's needs and we take that same needs-based philosophy to our customers. We understand their challenges and provide them with the quality, resilient, scalable cloud-based systems and solutions that help secure, manage and support the information required for their long-term business success."
"The Cloud Awards has been identifying the great organizations who create world-changing technologies for a decade now," said James Williams, head of operations, The Cloud Awards. "Ricoh is a worthier-than-ever winner of a Cloud Award, taking cloud technologies to new heights. It was a real pleasure to see them come top in their category and shows how much they impressed the panel with their market-leading innovations."
Ricoh USA Inc. has also announced that CRN has named Ricoh IT Services to its Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the MSP Elite 150 category for 2022. CRN's annual MSP 500 list identifies the leading service providers in North America whose forward-thinking approaches to managed services are changing the landscape of the IT channel, helping end users increase efficiency and simplify IT solutions, while maximizing their return on investment.
"It is an honor to be recognized on the MSP 500 list in the Elite 150 category," Lamendola said. "With the acceleration of remote and hybrid work, supporting productivity through effective managed IT services is critical. We are committed to providing innovative and operationally efficient digital services and information management solutions to end users, regardless of where they're working, and to meet the increased demand for security and cloud migration in the age of digital transformation. This latest recognition speaks to our industry leadership in this crucial area."
Ricoh's comprehensive IT services portfolio addresses the technology needs of Ricoh's customers so they can focus on their core business goals. By helping users manage information, Ricoh's advanced services portfolio, including its latest RICOH Capture & Conversion Services, empowers organizations with the services that enable flexible, secured workstyles and locations — which is critically important with today's dispersed workforces.
"In addition to having to adjust their own business operations to account for the changed conditions during the pandemic, MSPs have also seen increased demand for their managed communications, collaboration and security services," said Blaine Raddon, CEO, The Channel Company. "The solution providers on our 2022 MSP 500 list deserve credit for their innovative and game-changing approaches to managed services in these unpredictable times, as well as their ability to optimize operational efficiencies and systems without straining IT budgets."
The annual MSP 500 list is divided into three sections: the MSP Pioneer 250, recognizing companies with business models weighted toward managed services and largely focused on the SMB market; the MSP Elite 150, recognizing large, data-center-focused MSPs with a strong mix of on- and off-premise services; and the Managed Security 100, recognizing MSPs focused primarily on off-premise and cloud-based security services.
