MPS Monitor has announced new capabilities specifically designed for HP large-format printers (LFPs). 

The latest update significantly improves the management and monitoring of HP’s wide format and plotter printer families, including: HP DESIGNJET, HP PAGEWIDE XL, HP LATEX and HP STITCH.

These improvements are based on extensive feedback from our customers and partners, combined with MPS Monitor’s proactive market insights.

Detailed counters and consumables management

One of the most important updates is greater visibility into counters and consumables directly from the device page.

Users are now able to quickly access critical information about their HP devices' print performance, including detailed consumable statuses such as color, level, serial numbers and part numbers. This granular visibility significantly reduces downtime and simplifies consumable replenishment.

Advanced alert management

MPS providers or large format specialists can easily manage LFP-related consumable alerts, which are based on the same logic we have with maintenance kits. Please keep in mind that these new thresholds as well, must follow the same configuration, hence matching the specific values (type – color) provided directly by the printer, in order to ensure an accurate and efficient management of consumables.

Blended counters for better data analysis

Another robust enhancement is the "Blended Counters" feature, which facilitates the creation of advanced, customized counters. By selecting "LFP" as the source, customers can easily aggregate counters across diverse HP printers. The conversion feature supports different units of measure, ensuring precise and meaningful aggregation of metrics.
