Kyocera Awarded Great Place to Work Recognition for 2024
Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. has announced it has been certified as a Great Place to Work for 2024. The certification proves the company's firm belief in pursuing a philosophy that places people at the core of all operations, starting with the Kyocera family. This is the fourth consecutive year Kyocera has earned the certification.
Great Place to Work evaluates and rates thousands of candidates to appear in the ranking of the best companies to work for. It does this by surveying more than 100 million employees in 60 countries around the world.
Kyocera has been named a great place to work for the fourth time thanks to its commitment to ethical management policies and practices. Today, to work at the printing and document management solutions company is to work at one of the best organizations in America.
Great Place to Work certifies companies, but it is employees who decide whether their company should qualify for the recognition. On average in the United States, 57% of employees say they work at a great company, however, this figure rises to 81% at Kyocera.
The Great Place to Work survey measures key areas such as Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Caring and Camaraderie. Since 2021, Kyocera has made significant strides in each of these categories. In 2024, the company received its highest scores yet, with 82% of employees reporting a strong camaraderie and 79% expressing pride in their work.
The Great Place to Work methodology also requires employees to pass the Trust Index test; a questionnaire sent via email to employees, which measures their experience in 15 different subdimensions. In Kyocera's case, employees have spoken out.
Anonymous employee feedback highlighted the positive impact of strong leadership and teamwork across Kyocera's various regions. Employees expressed gratitude for the company's supportive managers and praised the sense of unity across teams, particularly in achieving business objectives.
"We trust one another to do our best to serve our customers, and we do that by serving one another," said an employee from KDS Northern California. "Synergy is at work here every day — accomplishing more together than we could by ourselves."
"Our commitment to creating an exceptional work environment is stronger than ever," said Óscar Sánchez, president and CEO, Kyocera Document Solutions America. "Achieving Great Place to Work certification once again shows that our focus on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie resonates with our employees. Our goal is to be among the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For by FY28, and this recognition brings us one step closer to that vision."
Great Place to Work recognizes one of the world's leading names in document management and printing solutions as a company dedicated to its people. This recognition solidifies Kyocera as one of the best companies to work for in the Americas.
