Wes McArtor, former president of NEXERA, died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024.

Following is a post from his wife, Lisa McArtor, to her Facebook page on Oct. 27 announcing his death:

"It is with a very saddened and heavy heart that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, Wes McArtor. My loving husband passed on this morning at 1 a.m., with me at his side and supported by his family. Wes fought a difficult battle with glioblastoma for the past 20 months with courage, dignity, grace, and God by his side. He lived an extraordinary life filled with many adventures, accomplishments and love. He touched many lives in a positive way over his 67 years. He will be greatly missed and leave such a hole in our lives, but as he showed us his strength through all of this, we will honor him by living in that strength. We ask for continued prayers for our family as we navigate through this very difficult time. We’d like to thank you all for keeping us in prayer through this long, hard journey. A celebration of life will be planned for mid-February [2025] here in Arizona. Thanks to all our prayer warriors and friends who kept us uplifted!"
