The 205th webinar in BTA's Building My Business Webinar Series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Feb. 15. The webinar, "Managed IT Lead Generation: Five Proven Prospecting Strategies to Ignite Your IT Sales," will be led by Dale Stein, co-founder of Technology Assurance Group (TAG) and managing partner, i-NETT, and Ryan Mulvany, vice president of member advancement, TAG.

Stein co-founded TAG and currently serves as a partner. He holds the responsibility for developing TAG's strategic planning and guiding its business development. Stein has more than 30 years of proven entrepreneurial, business strategy, management, sales and marketing experience. In 2009, TAG entered into a partnership with Voice Smart Networks, an industry leader in unified communications. As a result, Stein holds a central role at Voice Smart Networks and is the driving force behind its business development. Until the spring of 2000, he served as CEO of INET Inc., a telecommunication company. INET was acquired by a public CLEC in 2000. Stein also founded Westec Security Corp. and served as its CEO. While there, he grew the private security company to more than $30 million in annual revenues. Stein sits on TAG's board of directors, as well as the board of TargetSafety, an online compliance and training company. He also sits on the advisory board of Phone+, a national telecom agent organization. Stein is also highly visible in the academic community. He regularly conducts lectures for the management and entrepreneurship programs at San Diego State University. Stein received a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering technology from DeVry University in Chicago, Illinois, and certification from Harvard University's Small Company Management Program.
Mulvany, vice president of member advancement, provides TAG members with expert consultation, analysis, advice and counseling. He creates innovative programs designed to increase members' profits and sales, conducts business management trainings, and develops new curriculum, tools and systems. In 2010, Mulvany joined i-NETT as an intern from the Entrepreneurial Program at San Diego State University. Upon graduation, he became a sales executive. Mulvany's career progressed rapidly and, ultimately, he became the vice president of sales and marketing at i-NETT. Mulvany successfully sold managed IT, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, telephony and video surveillance. He hired, trained and managed a team of agents, salespeople and interns to drive new business development, and also implemented innovative marketing and lead generation strategies that led to new opportunities. Mulvany's efforts helped i-NETT achieve 25%-plus EBITDA. He leverages his vast experience from i-NETT in his role at TAG to greatly impact members and strategic partners.
